Corey Martin

Human Resources Director

With nearly 20 years of security expertise, Corey Martin has experience in Operational Security, Physical Security and Cyber Security fields. He is an experienced Human Resources Manager in an organization with over 2,000 personnel. He is a certified Department of Defense Mediator and trained Equal Opportunity Advisor from the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute. Corey has completed multiple levels of leadership training to include the Army’s Senior Leader Course. As an Instructor he was a small group leader and developed courseware for training those leadership courses.

Corey has been in the military for over 18 years serving in various positions of trust within the organizations he has served. He is graduate of the Army Anti-Terrorism Officer Course, developing threat assessment information and preparing vulnerability reports for military facilities. He has extensive knowledge with physical security requirements in tactical and garrison environments. He has held a Secret security clearance since 2001 and has had no derogatory information reported throughout his career.

Corey has served in multiple locations around the world and deployed overseas to Iraq twice. Even after all of his travels, he knew Kansas City was home. Raised on a tobacco farm in Lathrop, Missouri, becoming an Eagle Scout and graduating high school in Grain Valley, living and working throughout the Kansas City metro area, Corey is definitely a “hometown” boy. This community and its well-being are important to him. He currently resides in Blue Springs, Missouri with his wife Danielle, three children, assorted pets and the occasional foster dog. When he’s not working or volunteering, he loves to spend time outdoors with his family, go trout fishing and riding his Harley through the country.
